a program designed to allow canine guests to share in the hotel's five-star, five-diamond
luxury. The "V.I.P. (Very Important Pooch)" program caters to doggy
divas, providing them decadent doggy "must-haves": use of ultra-chic
pet carriers, 22-karat gold plated identification tags, aromatherapy coat spritz
treatments, home-baked dog treats and carob "bon-bons", ceramic dinnerware,
bone-shaped plush stuffed doggy "pillows", and luxury quilted travel
mats. In case a canine guest should forget to pack appropriately for the unpredictable
New York City weather, rainproof trench coats, leather jackets and cashmere sweaters
are on loan at the hotel's concierge desk. All "V.I.P." items are provided
by the Jazzy Couture Collection, inspired by Cindy Adams best selling book The
Gift of Jazzy and sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. Offered to hotel guests traveling
with dogs weighing 60 pounds or less, all "V.I.P." items are complimentary,
