(Very Important Pooch)" program caters to doggy divas, providing them decadent doggy "must-haves": use of ultra-chic pet carriers, 22-karat gold plated identification tags, aromatherapy coat spritz treatments, home-baked dog treats and carob "bon-bons", ceramic dinnerware, bone-shaped plush stuffed doggy "pillows", and luxury quilted travel mats. In case a canine guest should forget to pack appropriately for the unpredictable New York City weather, rainproof trench coats, leather jackets and cashmere sweaters are on loan at the hotel's concierge desk.
