April 30th - May 1st join the Purina Celebrate Pets Weekend Gala at the Holiday Inn On King in Toronto for an event filled with fashion, fun, and festivities for you and your pet!

WHO: theadlibgroup, a Toronto based marketing & communications agency, inspired by the new trends in the pet industry and the incredible acts performed by Canine Search and Rescue Foundations in Canada, developed the concept to dedicate a weekend to celebrating people's passion for pets and the irreplaceable role they play in our lives. With the grand support from the title sponsor, Purina, and host sponsor, Holiday Inn On King, the 'furst' annual Celebrate Pets Weekend Gala is guaranteed to be a screaming success attracting fashionistas, pet-lovers, trend-setters, families, and of course pets from across Canada!

WHAT: On Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st, Purina Celebrate Pets Weekend Gala is inviting pet owners to skip the parks and come walk down the runway at the Holiday Inn On King. The Gala is filled with activities for every member of the family, so grab your leashes and join Toronto for a weekend that is truly made for the dogs.

TRADE SHOW: The celebrations kick off Saturday 9:00 a.m. with the two-day Trade Show. 55 exclusive, unique exhibitors will display the latest and greatest pet-related products and services. From leashes and treats to haute couture and high cuisine, pet lovers of all sorts will find everything they could possibly imagine on display. Topped off with enticing attractions, including the Purina Pro Plan Dog Stars featuring McCann Dogs - this event is a must see!

FASHION SHOW: Lights! Cameras! Celebrities! Saturday at 8:30 p.m. the event shifts into high gear with the Gala Fashion Show. Hosted by popular TV personality Jeanne Beker, this event will showcase people and pets parading the season's newest styles & latest trends! A unique event filled with local and international entertainment, the Gala Fashion Show will be nothing short of spectacular! But that's not all…the evening's excitement extends beyond the runway! Following the show, all ticket holders are invited to an exclusive reception where they will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with models, entertainment, and guest celebrities.

AUCTION FOR THE CAUSE: The Gala Fashion Show also includes a live auction offering an array of high-value pet products. The proceeds from the auction will support the event's cause - Canine Search and Rescue within Canada.

RUNWAY BRUNCH: The weekend wraps up on Sunday, May 1st with a Runway Brunch. Featuring the next generation of Canadian fashion designers, the whole family, pets included, will be treated to an extraordinary brunch and private runway show. Some lucky pets in attendance will even qualify for an exclusive pet makeover and the opportunity to be part of the show.
